Puri is famous for its Rath Yatra festival, where huge chariots, decorated with bright colors and intricate designs, carry the gods through the streets while thousands of devotees sing and dance. Badrinath Temple, Uttarakhand
Badrinath Temple, situated amidst the majestic Himalayas in Uttarakhand, is one of Hinduismâs four sacred pilgrimage sites, known as the Char Dham. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the temple attracts numerous devotees and spiritual seekers every year.
The Badrinath Temple is considered a masterpiece of architecture, featuring intricate carvings and statues that emit a serene and spiritual atmosphere. At its heart lies the idol of Lord Vishnu, crafted from black stone, which is highly revered by worshippers seeking blessings and spiritual comfort.

According to Hindu beliefs, the city has been submerged by the sea six times and the current city is said to be its seventh incarnation. This adds an air of mystery and fascination to Dwarka, drawing pilgrims and history enthusiasts alike.
Standing tall in the city is the majestic Dwarkadhish Temple, also known as Jagat Mandir. Built in the 16th century, it is said to have been constructed by King Vajranabha, Lord Krishnaâs great-grandson. The templeâs intricate carvings, towering spire, and the majestic flag hoisted five times daily create a mesmerizing sight. Two significant gateways mark the entrance and exit â the âSwarga Dwarâ (Gate to Heaven) and the âMoksha Dwarâ (Gate to Liberation), symbolizing the spiritual journey undertaken by pilgrims.
Chota Char Dham
Another circuit of four ancient pilgrimage sites in the Indian state of Uttarakhand viz. Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath are referred to as Chota Char Dham to differentiate it from this bigger circuit of Char Dham sites.
